As an actor/musician, Michael has been on the musical end of the scale for the past year. Playing keyboards in the 50's, 60's and 70's band Jukebox, he has been seen all around the state of Arizona, including the Celebrity Theater for the 94.5 KOOL FM Christmas concert starring Tommy James and the Shondells. Michael also plays lead keyboards nationally for the 60's soul group Jay and the Techniques whose hits "Apple, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie" and "Keep the Ball Rollin'" achieved Gold Record status with appearances on the The Ed Sullivan Show and American Bandstand. He's performed with oldies artists across the country including Freddy "Boom-Boom" Cannon, Tommy Roe and just recently at the Celebrity Theater with Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits. Despite the music industry which keeps him busy and employed, Michael also has managed to build quite an acting resume. He has performed in numerous theatrical productions locally in Phoenix as well as the New York/New Jersey area where he hails from. Somewhere in the middle of this insanity he managed to marry the most phenomenal woman and become instant "Dad" to four children. He thanks his wife for her amazing support in their hectic life. And thank you to Ed for the experience of "Byline"! (He's really not that grumpy.) |
